Our Intent Statement for MFL

At Ss Peter & Paul, the intent for MFL is for all children to experience speaking, listening and reading activities in a foreign language in a way that is accessible to all, regardless of experience. We want children to become confident users of language, learning for purpose and wherever possible, actually using language rather than just repeating phrases. Our children will leave Ss Peter & Paul equipped with the foundation of a love of language and ready to further their language learning whatever the future may hold for them.
