Our Intent Statement for Design and Technology

At Ss Peter & Paul, the intent for DT is for all children to be taught the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to design, make and evaluate purposeful and relevant products within a variety of contexts whilst developing key consideration and respect for their own and others needs, wants and values. To ensure the development of these key skills the children will use their imagination and creativity, linking learning across the curriculum. It is our intent that children will learn about key individuals and products and the impact of these on daily life and the wider world.
